HAZMAT TRANSPORT DRIVER PERMIT COURSE
Lifeskills Academy is an SCDF Approved Training Institute to conduct the HazMat Transport Driver Permit (HTDP) Course. The HazMat Transport Driver Course is mandatory for persons who are transporting or delivering or carrying hazardous materials or what is commonly known as "dangerous goods" (DG). End of course written MCA assessment is mandatory. On being certified competent, the driver is issued with the HTDP permit by SCDF which has a validity of two years.
Classes are conducted either face-to-face or by Zoom. For Malaysian drivers, we conduct the class by Zoom.

The 9 Classes of hazardous substances

Explain the purpose of legislation requirements on the transportation of hazardous materials

Roles and responsibilities of drivers in transporting hazardous substances and in an emergency

Basic principles on the chemistry of fire

Operating a fire extinguisher
Fees: $150 nett (Fee quoted is nett, we are not GST registered). We do not have any funding for our course fees.
